Megan Barajas
Megan Barajas began her animal care career at 15 years old starting in veterinary boarding facilities and dreamt from that moment on of owning her own animal facility. She has worked in the animal care industry for over 20 years and has experience as a horse farm manager, boarding facility manager, and has technician and reception experience at veterinary facilities.
Megan became the owner of That Dirty Dog in 2021 and has worked hard to increase its employees and expand its footprint.

Leah Psomas
Leah has been working with dogs since 2013 when she first started at That Dirty Dog as a bather. She worked here through college and once she graduated from Kennesaw State University she ventured out into the corporate world.
In 2022, Megan approached Leah with the opportunity to become the General Manager at That Dirty Dog and she has been here since! Leah has 4 dogs of her own Bailee (Duck Tolling Retriever), Chipper (Black Lab), Graham (Golden Retriever), and Oakley (Pit Mix). She loves and treats every dog as if they were her own.

Amanda Brown
Amanda's career in the animal industry started in her late teens volunteering at a local no kill shelter in New Orleans she quickly became interested in the veterinary aspect of it and got hired on as a veterinary technician at the clinic that provided services for the shelter. In 2005 her husband's Navy career moved the family to Norfolk, VA. There she took her first job in the grooming industry as a bather. She performed every job in the company including manager before training to be a groomer. In 2007, she completed coursing in dog/cat grooming, pet CPR, pet first aid, pet sitting, and pet nutrition from Animal Behavior College, as well as 100+ hours of hands-on training with a master groomer. She has made some moves due to family and career steps but landed at That Dirty Dog in July 2019.

Melissa Gailey
Melissa has been grooming since 2009 and with additional experience in the veterinarian medical field. She enjoys grooming all dog breeds and working with pets that are highly anxious or fearful. In her free time, you can find her practicing pottery, stained glass art, hiking, kayaking, and trying every new food place around town. She is a coffee and ice cream enthusiast and has a Catahoula Leopard/Pit mix named Little Brown Dog.

Harrison Given
Harrison has been an animal lover for his entire life and has worked with dogs for nearly a decade, with past experience as a dog trainer and 8 years of grooming dogs. He owns an Australian shepherd named Pash and a German shepherd/pit bull mix named Lily. In his spare time, he enjoys video games and good books.

Heather Hunt
Heather has been in the pet industry for 7 years, with 5 years in grooming. Her favorite breeds are any kind of doodle and she enjoys creative fusion grooms. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, weightlifting, painting, and hiking with her dog, Auggie (photographed above).

Lindsay Lattin
Lindsay started her grooming career in 2001. She worked as a bather at Petsmart working her way up to teacher & manager. Her favorite dog breeds to groom are Airdales, Westies, and Cairn Terriers! She loves to stay entertained by watching movies, and listening to audio books. Her favorite genre is fantasy. She owns 6 cats, 3 dogs and a handful of sugar gliders.

Kristina Karraker
Kristina started her grooming journey when she was 16 years old. She began breeding her favorite dog breed Chinese Cresteds and showing dogs for 15 years. Kristina specializes in hand scissoring, and breed standard show cuts. She currently owns four beautiful fur babies.

Taj Nelson
Taj has been working with animals for the last 13 years. He started off working on a farm with mainly goats and sheep but he has been grooming dogs for the last 8 years. His favorite breed of dog to groom is a sheltie.

Jeni Bean
Jeni has been in the pet industry since she was 12 years old, from petsitting to volunteering at shelters. When she was 19 she graduated to working with exotic animals, but then decided grooming was more her passion! When she’s not grooming you can find her outside with her Berner, Dutch, or painting.
